	Powder Valley Contractors, Inc. is a non-union general construction company that specializes in all types of residential and commercial construction from Allentown to the suburbs of Philadelphia and New Jersey. We are located in the village of Powder Valley about 10 miles to the south of Allentown, Pennsylvania. We deal with construction at both the private and public level and for homeowners, corporations, municipalities, and institutions. The company was founded in May of 1983 by James Martignetti, the President. He is a 1979 graduate of Drexel University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In the past 28 years he has accumulated a great deal of construction experience as well as an expertise in historical restoration.
	The company has been family owned and operated since its incorporation. Ann Martignetti is the Secretary and holds a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University (1980). Sons Michael, Nicholas, and Peter have been involved in the company through the years through a great deal of field and office work. Michael is a graduate of Villanova University with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering. His main area of focus with the company is bidding and estimation. Nicholas is also a recent graduate of Villanova University with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering. He is currently working as Vice President of the company. Peter graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a degree in Finance & Accounting. He currently assists with the company's marketing and advertising efforts, and works part-time as a laborer.
