Text Box: The Spinnerstown War Memorial was constructed in Molasses Creek Park to honor the citizens of Milford Township that served the nation in times of war.  It was dedicated on Memorial Day weekend of 2007.  The memorial consists of a memorial with the names of soldiers, a flagpole in the center, decorative boulders, several benches, a flagstone patio, and a stone wall surrounding everything.  The memorial provides a great addition to the park as it remembers those who served the country.

 

 

 

 

Text Box: The photo on the right shows a closer view of the war memorial.  We were responsible for the construction of the stone wall for the memorial.  It is 120 LF of wall that is 3 feet high and has a 14 foot radius.  The stone used was real field stone, which gives the wall a very natural look.  The wall is topped with blue flagstone.  We cut pieces of flagstone to the appropriate radius and torched the edges to make a natural looking edge.  The stone wall completes the memorial and provides a very aesthetically pleasing addition to the park.

   

 

Text Box: To the left is a closer picture of the stone wall, benches, and memorial wall.  Notice the natural look of the field stone and beautiful flagstone capping.  The flagstone patio, wood benches, boulders, and lighted flagpole compliment the wall very nicely.
