Coral’s Academy of Dance was both a restoration and commercial construction project.  We began with an old rundown one room school house built in the 1920s.  We restored this building in order to convert it into the lobby area and waiting room for the new dance studio.  Some of the tasks of the restoration included gutting the inside, re-supporting the floors, replacing brick on various parts of the building, replacing the old window and door systems, and studding out the old walls on the inside.  The rest of the dance studio involved a large addition to this building.  The new addition included large specially installed sprung dance floors on both levels, bathrooms, a changing room, and an area for costumes.  Pictures and newspaper articles about this project are included.
